After a long career as an entrepreneur in the cycling and fitness industry – managing, owning, and consulting for multiple retail operations – G.H. Spears developed a deep interest in the people, behaviors, and environments around him. Observation turned into analysis, and analysis evolved into a study of culture itself.
As retirement approached, he dedicated himself fully to the social sciences: anthropology, sociology, social psychology, and history. This work, combined with lived experience and decades of real-world exposure to human behavior, shaped the foundation for Deconstructing America — a book written to help readers understand the complex dynamics shaping modern society.
